Harry E. Sechman

Mr. Sechman is certified as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, which he was awarded from the National Endowment for Financial Education and the American Institute for Retirement Planning.  The CRPC certificate program focuses on strategic thinking and action needed to anticipate and meet the vast array of existing and emerging retirement needs.

The College for Financial Planning awarded him a Certificate for Advanced Studies in "Financial Planning for the Retired". He has also completed advanced studies in “Financial Decision Making at Retirement" from The American College.

Harry Sechman has earned other educational recognitions on specific issues dealing with Long Term Care and Passing on the Family Wealth.  He has also written and published numerous articles on the subject of retirement and works with other professionals to help them understand the complex issues involving retirement planning.  He conducts seminars on retirement planning for corporations, as well as workshops for local organizations and groups.

Licensed in Massachusetts as an Individual Insurance Producer, Mr. Sechman deals with a wide array of companies, which allows him to carefully choose products that can be tailored to his client's needs.  He is a FINRA registered representative for investments through Parkland Securities, LLC, Member FINRA and SIPC, and a Investment Advisor Representative (I.A.R.) through Sigma Financial Planning Corporation.

Mr. Sechman is appointed as a Reserve Deputy with the Worcester County Sheriff's Department. He serves his hometown of Rutland as member of the Capital Improvement Planning Committee.

 

Eric V. Sechman

Eric joined the firm in 2008 after working at a large financial services company for two years. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF) designation and is currently working towards obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP) designation. Eric believes that creating long-lasting relationships with his clients is the greatest reward being a financial planner offers.

Eric is a licensed insurance producer in MA and CT, and is a FINRA registered representative for investments in MA, NH, CT, and AL through Parkland Securities, LC, member FINRA and SIPC. Eric holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Northwestern University and uses the training he learned while doing research in the laboratory every day to help his clients reach their financial goals.

Eric lives with his three children Samuel, Ronald, and Adrian. When he isn't working Eric enjoys exercising, reading, and can often be found at either the Taekwondo studio, the hockey rink, or the soccer field watching his boys with pride.

 

Kathleen Nicoll

Kathy, our Office Manager, has been with the Firm for nearly 14 years and is an instrumental part of our organization. Before joining us, she served as administrative assistant to the Academic Vice President at Anna Maria College leading to a career as their Alumni Director for many years. At H. E. Sechman Retirement Planning, Kathy sets up new appointments and accounts, answers client concerns, and manages Harry’s and Eric’s schedules.  She believes that priority of care and service to our clients is a hallmark of H. E. Sechman Retirement Planning’s longstanding reputation for client referral and retention.
